Hey there! My name is Rick van Eijndhoven. At 29, I work as a sports physiotherapist, but my real passion lies in the world of disc golf. My journey began in 2020, during the pandemic. Seeking an engaging outdoor activity, I turned to disc golf on the advice of two friends. Before this, I was a professional archer in The Netherlands, but the incredible community of disc golf quickly won me over and decided to change my sports profession.
By 2021, I had fully committed to using MVP discs exclusively and took a significant step in fostering the local disc golf scene by founding “Discgolf013” in Tilburg, Netherlands. What started as a small group has blossomed into a thriving community with nearly 150 members, making us the largest club in the country based on a single location.
My dedication to the sport extends beyond the local level as I continue to grow as a professional disc golfer. I regularly compete in DGPT (Disc Golf Pro Tour) events, and I recently achieved 2nd place at the last Dutch National Championships.
I am passionate about growing the sport and bringing people together through disc golf. Join me on this amazing journey, and let’s grow the sport together!
