Stacie Kiefer

I was first introduced to disc golf around 2015 when my dad built a course at our house for our family to play. I never really liked disc golf at first, as I was always comparing myself to my two older brothers and my dad who were a lot better than me at the time. Once I competed in my first tournament in 2018, I realized that I could keep up with other female players and that I wasn’t all that bad. I rarely played until 2020, which was my first full year of competing in tournaments.

I’ve played other sports in my past but none of them had the impact that disc golf has. I went pro in July of 2021, I had the opportunity to compete in a few DGPT events and those experiences made me realize that disc golf is what I want to do as a living. One thing that I love about disc golf is that it’s a great sport for families, my parents and my brothers, DW and Woody, all play. I’m so thankful for all their support and getting to travel as a family to tournaments. I’m so blessed to have disc golf in my life and can’t wait to see where it will take me.
