I was introduced to disc golf when I was 13 and only played once a week when my dad would take me. I’m not sure when exactly it happened but disc golf quickly switched from a weekly hobby to a daily obsession. I was a three sport athlete in high school but would always try and squeeze in as much practice as I could. My hometown league in Peru, Indiana and others in the surrounding area had a huge impact on me getting to where I am today. They encouraged me to come to leagues at a young age and gave me the confidence and support I needed.
When I was 15, I played in my first PDGA Amateur World Championships. In 2017, I decided to go professional. That first year I placed 4th in 18u at the World Championships. Since then, I have been gradually expanding my tournament traveling area. The 2022 tour season will be my first on Team MVP and my first season traveling to the West Coast.
Picking up that first disc has led me on an incredible journey. I love being able to travel around the United States and play at some amazing courses. I have met so many awesome people since I started playing disc golf and have made lifelong friends on tour. Disc golf has taught me so much about myself and what I am capable of. I am looking forward to many more years on the disc golf course – learning, growing, meeting new people, and having some epic adventures!
