My disc golf journey begins in 2011, fresh out of high school. My friends invited me out to play “frisbee golf” and I had no clue the journey that would start me down. I quickly fell in love with the sport and started playing multiple times a week during that summer.
The first MVP Disc I ever threw was actually a First Run Axis. It was a disc my brother found without a name or number at my home course. I was blown away by its amazingly straight flight, but I also thought the black overmold and clear maroon core was super cool looking. The fall of 2012, the Ion and Vector were release in Neutron plastic, those were the first two MVP Discs I ever purchased.
Fast forward to early 2014, I was add to MVP’s tester team. At the time, TK Disc Golf did not exist yet, but I spent a lot of time interacting with everyone on the Facebook fan page. There I would write disc reviews for the upcoming releases from MVP and Axiom Discs.
In 2015, my brother and I uploaded our first video as TK Disc Golf to YouTube. We barely knew how to edit videos, but with each video we posted, the more we learned. Our channel has now accumulated over 500,000 views and we have gained thousands of followers across our Facebook, YouTube and Instagram accounts.
I am married to my wonderful wife, Chloe. We dated all through High School and got married in 2014. We now have three beautiful daughters.
Outside of disc golf, I enjoy playing guitar, piano and also singing. Besides music, my favorite past time is playing Halo. I have enjoyed the Halo franchise since 2001.
